Privacy Policy

The Short Version

UiToolbar runs locally. Your source code stays on your machine. When you select an element and request a change, the element context is sent to your own coding agent (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) running on your machine — not to our servers.

What We Collect

Account

When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from the OAuth provider. This is used to manage your account and license.

Usage

We collect basic usage data for billing and product improvement. This does not include the content of your prompts or code.

Local Data

UiToolbar stores preferences, UI settings, and edit history locally in your browser and in a .uitoolbar/ directory in your project. This data never leaves your device.

How AI Processing Works

UiToolbar does not process AI requests on our servers. When you request a code modification, the selected element context and your prompt are sent directly to your local coding agent (Cursor, Claude Code, MCP server). The AI provider you use has its own privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

• Convex — Account data and authentication
• Stripe — Payment processing
• GitHub / Google — OAuth sign-in

Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing don@uitool.bar.
